French Vinaigrette

The best salad dressing ever!

This simple recipe is a classic by courtesy of Master Chef  Rob Rayney.

Ingredients:

6 T extra virgin olive oil

1/2 t salt

1/4 t freshly ground pepper

1 heaped t  Dijon mustard

1 T white wine vinegar

Method:

  1. mix all ingredients together except the oil.
  2. beat with whisk
  3. add oil slowly
  4. You can add chopped shallots or crushed garlic if you like

Tip:

Make it and use.  The French do not store vinrgarette.
