Shibashi: 13. Flying Dove Spreads its Wings

Reduce Depression by Expanding and thereby Strengthening your Lungs and your Heart

Exercise:

  1. Step forward at 45 degrees with your left foot.
  2. transfer weight from left to right as you spread your arms wide
  3. As you lean forward your front knee is bent.
  4. As you lean back your back knee is bent.
  5. Breathe in as you lean forward
  6. Breathe out as you lean back

Tip:

These is no beginning and no end each movement just flows into the next. Smooth, gentle, soft and relaxed.
